Stage 2 keeps the Big Bore high pressure fuel pump from Stage 1 — still 47% up on standard, still fully stainless welded — and moves the six flow-matched injectors to Stage 2 at 24% over stock. Nostrum rates the resulting fuel system to over 700 WHP on pump E85. For a 2023-2024 Ford Ranger Raptor already carrying an intercooler, an intake or a harder map, this is the rung that gives the calibrator injector headroom instead of asking standard-sized holes to work near the top of their duty cycle all the way up the rev range.
Injector duty is the quiet limiter on a modified 3.0 V6. Once a tune brings boost in earlier and holds it longer, the injectors spend more of the rev range near maximum pulse width, leaving nothing for a cold day, a poor tank or a hot restart. A 24% step buys that margin back while keeping an OEM-equivalent spray pattern for combustion quality. The pump carries over unchanged, so the extra volume the Big Bore already provides now has somewhere useful to go.
All three Ranger Raptor rungs share the same Big Bore pump, so the choice is purely injector size: 11% at Stage 1, 24% here, 96% at Stage 3. Stage 2 is the sensible middle for a properly modified truck still driven every day. Ethanol sensing on any of them is the separate Ranger Raptor ESSIM analyser, and the injectors alone are the Stage 2 injector set.

No. The pump is identical across Stage 1, 2 and 3 on this truck, so an existing Stage 1 owner needs only the Stage 2 injector set and a revised calibration.
