Every plate is designed around one platform: tank layout, drivetrain, sensors and service points included. Full kits like the Ranger Raptor system cover the truck from the nose to the rear diff with no gaps and no overlap.

The team behind the plates comes from Camel Trophy, Warn Cup and Transilvania Trophy crews, with Rally Raid preparers from Dakar, Faraones and the Bajas TT championship. This gear is designed by people who break things far from home.

Will skid plates affect cooling or ground clearance?
Each plate is drawn around the vehicle's airflow, angles and service points, and the Ranger Raptor range even includes a dedicated Airflow front plate. Tell us how you use the truck and we'll advise on the right coverage.
Aluminium or steel: which is better underneath?
Almont plates are certified AW5083 duralumin in 6 and 8mm: strength close to steel at roughly half the weight, and it doesn't rust. Less weight under the nose matters for suspension, payload and fuel.
Can you fit skid plates for me?
Yes. Single plates and full underbody kits can be fitted in our workshop, or we'll ship them with fixings and fitting notes if you'd rather do the spanner work yourself.
What are lead times on order-in items?
Some plates are on the shelf and others come from Almont's Spanish production run. We'll give you a real date before you commit, not after.
