1. Overview

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from Hoonies Adrenaline Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). It applies to customers in the United Kingdom and internationally.

This policy operates alongside our Terms of Service and does not affect your statutory rights under UK law.


2. UK Consumer Cancellation Rights (Distance Selling)

If you are a consumer purchasing online within the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery.

You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of return), using the original payment method.

Conditions

  • Items must be unused and in resalable condition.
  • Original packaging must be intact and not damaged.
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless goods are faulty.

3. Items Excluded from Cancellation

The right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Special-order or imported products sourced specifically for you
  • Installed or fitted performance parts
  • Used items beyond reasonable inspection
  • Electrical components once installed
  • Digital products, tuning files, or software once supplied or downloaded

Where digital tuning or calibration files are supplied electronically, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your right to cancel is lost once supply begins.


4. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods (UK)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

  • As described
  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose

If goods are faulty within 30 days of delivery, you may reject them for a full refund.

After 30 days, we may offer repair or replacement before refund where legally permitted.

We may require inspection before approving a refund or replacement.


5. International Returns

For customers outside the UK:

  • Returns for non-fault reasons must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
  • Return shipping, customs documentation, and import/export charges are the customer’s responsibility.
  • We do not refund original shipping costs for international orders unless the item is faulty.

If a return shipment incurs customs charges on re-entry to the UK due to incorrect declaration by the customer, those charges will be deducted from any refund.


6. Performance & Modified Vehicle Parts

Due to the nature of performance and off-road components:

  • Parts that have been installed, fitted, modified, painted, powder-coated, or used off-road are non-returnable unless faulty.
  • Items damaged during attempted installation are not eligible for return.
  • We are not responsible for compatibility issues arising from vehicle modifications.

7. Special Order & Imported Items

Products sourced specifically for a customer (including international supplier imports) are non-refundable unless faulty.

This includes items ordered from overseas manufacturers at customer request.


8. Warranty Returns

Manufacturer warranties apply where provided.

Warranty claims may require:

  • Return of the product for inspection
  • Proof of professional installation (for safety-critical parts)
  • Evidence of correct use

We are not responsible for labour costs, removal costs, reinstallation costs, vehicle downtime, or recovery expenses unless agreed in writing.

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photographs (if item is faulty or damaged)

Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused.


10. Packaging & Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring goods are securely packaged for return. We are not liable for damage caused during return transit.

We recommend using a tracked and insured service.


11. Refund Deductions

We may reduce your refund if the value of goods has been diminished due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Refunds may be reduced by:

  • Damage to packaging
  • Missing components
  • Installation marks
  • Return shipping or customs charges (where applicable)

12. Incorrect Orders

If you have ordered an incorrect item, you may return it within 14 days provided it is unused and in resalable condition.

Return shipping is your responsibility.


13. Refused Deliveries

If a delivery is refused without valid reason:

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping and carrier penalties will be deducted from any refund.
  • Customs-related losses are the customer’s responsibility.

14. Chargebacks

Unjustified chargebacks without prior return communication may result in recovery of administrative and banking costs.
