Chosen with intent

Why we choose NGK

Not every supplier makes the cut. NGK is on the shelf because ignition is where tuned petrol engines quietly lose their edge, and no name carries more trust in a plug box.

1

The default for a reason

Ninety years of ignition engineering and OEM trust. When the factory fits it, the aftermarket copy isn't an upgrade.

2

Ruthenium technology

Fine-wire electrodes with better ignitability and service life than standard iridium, suited to hard-working boosted engines.

3

The tune's best friend

Fresh, correct plugs are step one of every calibration we do on the Raptor. Cheap insurance for an expensive map.

NGK questions, answered

Why Ruthenium rather than standard plugs?

Ruthenium fine-wire electrodes light the mixture more reliably and resist wear better, which matters most on boosted engines running higher cylinder pressures.

When should a tuned Raptor change plugs?

Sooner than the book says. Boost and heat shorten plug life, so we typically bring the interval forward on mapped trucks. Ask us with your mileage and map.

Can you fit the plugs for me?

Yes, and on the 3.0L V6 it's worth it: access is tight and torque matters. It pairs neatly with a service or dyno session.

What are lead times?

NGK stock moves fast in the UK. We'll give you a real date before you commit, not after.

Fitment first

Find NGK parts for your vehicle

Every NGK line we list is matched to a checked fitment profile, built from manufacturer data and what we bolt on in the workshop. Pick your truck and see only what fits.
