Why we choose Longranger

Not every supplier makes the cut. Longranger is on the shelf because range anxiety is real when the next pump is 300 miles of nothing away, and this company has been solving exactly that since the late 1970s.

1

Range that changes trips

A 140 litre Raptor tank or 174 litres under a Defender turns fuel stops from route-planning into an afterthought.

2

Engineered, not just enlarged

2mm aluminised steel with internal baffles, an anti-surge dam and an expansion chamber. Fuel behaves, gauges read true.

3

Drawn per vehicle

Tanks follow the underbody, exhaust and suspension of the exact truck, with sealed brackets and factory-style mounting.

Longranger questions, answered

Replacement or auxiliary: what's the difference?

A replacement tank swaps the factory tank for a bigger one; an auxiliary adds a second tank alongside it. Space, payload and how far you roam decide which is right, and we'll talk it through.

Does a bigger tank affect the fuel gauge?

Longranger tanks are designed to work with the factory sender so the gauge stays meaningful. We check calibration as part of the fit.

Can you fit a Longranger tank for me?

Yes, and for tanks we recommend it: fuel plumbing, breathers and sealing are worth doing once, properly, on the ramp.

What are lead times on order-in items?

Tanks ship from Australia when not on the shelf, so order-in waits are real. We'll give you a true date before you commit, not after.

Fitment first

Find Longranger parts for your vehicle

Every Longranger line we list is matched to a checked fitment profile, built from manufacturer data and what we bolt on in the workshop. Pick your truck and see only what fits.
