The bar-and-plate core uses TIG-welded construction and cast aluminium end tanks shaped through CFD airflow modelling. Its larger thermal mass and flow capacity support the engine when the turbos are working hard.

The built-in maintenance drain provides access for removing collected condensation and blow-by residue according to the service instructions. It is a practical ownership feature beyond the larger core.
It fits without cutting, trimming or fabrication and works with the factory ECU calibration. Professional fitting still needs front-end access, secure connections and final clearance and leak checks.
If the engine already has a custom tune, keep your tuner informed of the change. Factory calibration compatibility does not mean other modifications no longer need the right setup.
