These 2.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminium pipes replace the factory plastic intercooler sections, addressing the risk of splits and lost boost as output rises. They let you strengthen the charge-air pipework while keeping the factory intercooler or Process West Stage 1.
It is the kit for the factory intercooler or Process West Stage 1. Black keeps the engine bay understated; red makes the hardware part of the look. Both have the same intended application.

The pipes carry compressed air between the turbos, intercooler and engine. Aluminium replaces the original plastic sections, with smooth mandrel bends and flexible connections to follow the engine-bay routing.
We would fit this kit when increasing boost while retaining the original or Stage 1 cooler. It upgrades the pipework doing that job without making you buy another intercooler or a complete airbox package.
PWRR01B-pipe and PWRR01R-pipe suit the factory cooler and Process West Stage 1. Other replacement intercoolers need compatible connections and routing; the word “universal” does not mean every cooler will fit.
The Process West Stage 2 uses a separate pipe kit. If you already own these Stage 1 pipes and later move to Stage 2, the matching conversion kit is another route; you may not need to buy all the pipes again.
The original blow-off valve, inlet-temperature sensor, retaining clips and directional O-rings are reused. The O-rings must face the correct way to seat and seal, as shown in the fitting guide. The intercooler, airbox, crossover and fitting labour are separate.
The installation removes the factory airbox and bash plate for access. Reconnect the original valve and sensor wiring and finish with joint, clearance and leak checks.
The aluminium sections are only part of a sound installation. Look after the joiners, clamps and mounting points too, particularly after other engine-bay work or hard off-road use. A rub mark or loose connection deserves attention before the next demanding drive.
