Stage 3 is the biggest direct injector Nostrum builds for the BMW N55 and S55, and it exists for cars that have already outgrown the Stage 2 set. Each injector flows 1675 cc/min, or 20.2 g/s, at 100 bar, which is 85% more than the stock S55 part, and the set is rated to 250 bar of operating pressure. It is a direct-fit design that needs no harness changes and no spacers, arrives as six injectors with OEM decoupling rings already installed, and comes with a full installation guide. This is the fuelling step for a serious ethanol build, not a first upgrade, and the list of cars it covers is deliberately short.
The jump from 1410 cc/min to 1675 cc/min is not a small trim: it is the difference between a strong road map and a build chasing the top of what the S55 fuel system supports. Nostrum quotes 1100 whp on petrol and 960 whp on E85 as the ceiling this injector can support with the whole car built and calibrated to suit, not as something the injector delivers by itself. It is also worth noting that Nostrum lists EcuTek and Bootmod3 for this set, where the Stage 2 injectors add MHD, so confirm your tuning platform first.
The fitment list below is short, so check it carefully before ordering: outside the M3, M4 and M2, only the 435i and the F87 M2 non-Competition are covered. A calibration on EcuTek or Bootmod3 is required. On an S55 the pumps need to keep up too, so pair these with the twin Standard Bore Plus pump kit, or buy the two together as the S55 Stage 3 bundle.

Usually, yes. A car on a stock or lightly upgraded turbo is better served by the Stage 2 set, which covers a far wider range of BMWs. Stage 3 earns its place once airflow and ethanol content have both climbed.
