This is the largest fuel package Nostrum offers for the BMW S55: the twin Standard Bore Plus high pressure pump kit, flowing 36% more than the factory pumps, together with the Stage 3 direct injector set at 1675 cc/min each, 85% more than the stock S55 injector and 31% more than the EU5 M5 part. It is built for F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and F87 M2 Competition cars that have already moved past bolt-on power and are running big turbos on heavy ethanol blends. Nostrum designs it to stay fully reversible to the factory fuel system, with no modification of OEM parts and no intake trimming.
The pumps are the same in both S55 bundles. What changes is the injector: 1675 cc/min instead of 1410, an 85% step over stock rather than 55%. That extra capacity only pays for itself once airflow and ethanol content are both high, which is why the Stage 2 bundle remains the better answer for most tuned road M cars. Worth checking early: Nostrum lists EcuTek and Bootmod3 for the Stage 3 injector on its own product page, so confirm the platform with your tuner before ordering.
Check your chassis code against the table below; this package is S55 only. A calibration is required. Plan the install around removing the intake manifold, since the pump kit's spacer, gaskets and extended studs sit beneath it, though Nostrum states no OEM parts are modified and no intake trimming is needed. An ethanol sensor is an optional addition and is the sensible companion if the fuel blend will vary.
