More airflow is only useful when your S55 has the fuel supply to match. Nostrum's Stage 2 bundle upgrades both high-pressure pumps and all six direct injectors, giving a developed petrol or ethanol-fuelled engine more capacity while retaining direct injection. It is the smaller-injector choice of the two S55 bundles, with the same upgraded pumps as Stage 3.

The twin Standard Bore Plus pumps flow 36% more than the original pumps and operate at up to 240 bar. The Stage 2 injectors flow 55% more than stock S55 injectors and 12% more than EU5 M5 injectors. Their 1410 cc/min flow figure is measured at 100 bar; it is a component capacity figure rather than a power gain from bolting in the parts.
The pumps feed the fuel rail; the injectors deliver that fuel into the cylinders. Upgrading them together addresses both parts of that supply, instead of fitting more capacity at one end while leaving a restriction at the other. You keep direct injection, with no secondary injector controller or extra fuel tank to add. The hardware is ethanol-compatible, giving your tuner a choice of fuels when the low-pressure supply and calibration suit the build.
Stage 2 combines the same upgraded twin pumps used in Stage 3 with the smaller of the two injector sets. Choose it when those injectors cover the airflow and fuel demand of your build. Stage 3 buys additional injector capacity for higher demand; the decision comes from your engine and fuel plans, rather than choosing the largest stage number.
Two upgraded high-pressure pumps, the application-specific pump installation parts, six matched Stage 2 direct injectors with pre-installed OEM decoupling rings, and installation/tuning information. The injectors fit without extra harnesses or spacers. The pump conversion does not require intake trimming or permanent modification of the original parts, so the fuel system can be returned to factory specification. An ethanol sensor and calibration are separate.
The pump kit includes two vacuum-brazed stainless high-pressure tube assemblies, anti-vibration clamps, three OE-style low-pressure tubes, a T-split with a pre-installed fuel-pressure sensor, and the routing brackets and fittings. An aluminium intake-manifold spacer, its gaskets and seven extended studs are included too. The manifold has to come off, which makes doing the pumps and injectors together a practical way to avoid repeating that access work.
Arrange the calibration before installation. The tuner needs the correct pump and injector data, the intended fuel and the rest of the engine specification. The low-pressure supply must also meet the build’s demand. If ethanol content varies, use a suitable sensing and calibration arrangement rather than treating every fill as the same blend. The S55 application covers F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and F87 M2 Competition/CS. The wider N55 fitment of an injector on its own does not make this twin-pump bundle fit an N55 car.
We recommend coding the new injectors during installation to clear the previous injector compensations. This is separate from the supporting calibration, which must use the correct pump and injector characterisation.
Nostrum's limited lifetime warranty covers its manufactured parts against qualifying manufacturing defects. Installation labour and diagnostic costs are not covered. Keep your purchase details and follow the installation and fuel-system maintenance requirements.
