The Nostrum BMW B58 Gen 1 Stage 2 High Flow DI Injectors are the larger of Nostrum's two Gen 1 B58 injector steps, built for cars that have already moved past a standard turbo or a mild ethanol blend. At 1434 cc/min at 100 bar they deliver 66% more flow than the factory injector, which is the volume an upgraded turbo or a heavy E85 target actually asks for. The spray pattern stays OEM equivalent, so the engine still burns in a way your tuner recognises. They are ethanol compatible and arrive as a complete set with a comprehensive installation guide. This is the injector to buy when the fuel side has to stop being the part of the build you plan around.
This is the one specification worth reading twice. The Stage 2 injector has a 220 bar maximum operating pressure, where the smaller Stage 1 set holds 240 bar. A bigger nozzle moves more fuel per millisecond but tolerates slightly less rail pressure, so the extra capacity has to be used as volume rather than as pressure. Tell your calibrator the rating before the first map, and the pressure target gets set correctly from the start.
Fitting 66% more injector to a factory high pressure pump moves the restriction rather than removing it, because the pump still has to keep the rail full at the flow the injectors are now asking for. If the plan is a serious ethanol map, the Stage 2 Gauntlet bundle matches this set to the Gauntlet pump kit so the two parts are sized to each other.
Gen 1 B58 engines only; the Gen 2 uses a 350 bar fuel system and a different injector. A tune is required before the car is driven. Check the model and year table below against your car, and if it is an import or already carries turbo, fuel or ECU changes, send Hoonies those details first so the right stage is ordered.
