Upgrade the intercooler and pipes in one go.
Hard use puts both the intercooler and its pipework to work. This Fenix package replaces both with an aluminium cooling assembly and matching pipework, finished in black for a tidy installation.
Developed with CTB Performance for the 2022+ Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 petrol, it brings the cooler, pipes and connections into one purchase. It is a particularly useful option when you want to replace the whole factory intercooler arrangement in the same workshop visit.
The 440 × 185 × 115 mm bar-and-plate core has dual 50 mm inlets and a 63 mm outlet. CNC-machined connections accommodate the original blow-off valve, air-temperature sensor and recirculation pipe, keeping those factory components part of the installation.
The intercooler adds 37.5% more capacity, with intake-air temperatures up to 20°C lower in Fenix testing. That extra cooling capacity is useful when the engine is working hard repeatedly.

The black cooler and pipework are the configuration described here. The original valve and sensors are reused; an upgraded blow-off valve and fitting labour are separate.
The kit uses the original sensor and mounting connections, but the factory intercooler shroud must be removed. Have the installer check the front-end layout alongside any bull bar, skid plates or additional transmission cooler.
We would combine the cooler and pipe fitting in the same job. The supplied parts are designed to work together, avoiding a second strip-down simply to replace the intercooler pipes later.
Keep the core face free of packed mud and inspect the hose joints, brackets and sensor connections during servicing. Aluminium pipework still depends on correctly installed joiners and clamps.
This is a charge-air cooler. It does not cool the gearbox oil or replace the engine radiator. If transmission temperature is the concern, the Fenix transmission cooler tackles that separate circuit.
