750 ml Mercon ULV, subject to correct starting level and actual installation losses
Finish options
Silver or black
Give your gearbox some breathing room when the trip gets demanding.
A loaded climb, slow off-road work or repeated hard acceleration asks a lot of an automatic gearbox. The Process West transmission cooler gives your Raptor a dedicated upgrade for managing that heat, with the hoses, brackets and connections needed to integrate it into the vehicle.
It fits alongside factory-type intercoolers and Process West Stage 1 or Stage 2, so you can build the cooling package around the way you use the truck. Choose silver or black to suit the rest of the installation.

Built around the oil circuit
A bar-and-plate cooler with billet end tanks adds a heat-rejection surface for the transmission fluid. Gates LOLA 300 psi hose and 400-series Speedflow fittings form the connecting pipework.
We would choose this upgrade for sustained demanding use, with transmission-temperature information guiding the decision where it is available.
What is supplied?
Transmission cooler in the selected finish
Cooler mounting brackets, hose supports and fitting hardware
Hoses and connections for the installation
Correct transmission fluid and professional fitting need to be included in your installation budget. The intercooler itself is a separate product.
Fluid and fitting made clear
The Process West guide calls for 750 ml of Mercon ULV transmission fluid after installation when the starting level was correct: 650 ml for the new core and hoses, plus approximately 100 ml lost during fitting. Have the workshop verify the final level using the appropriate vehicle procedure.
Front grille and bash-plate access are needed. If a Process West Stage 2 intercooler is fitted, it is temporarily removed for access. Hose routing must keep the lines clear of sharp edges and moving parts.
Looking after the installation
Inspect hose routing, mountings and connections during routine servicing, and clear packed mud from the cooler face after off-road use. A cooler supports temperature management; it does not repair an existing transmission fault or increase the Raptor’s towing and payload limits.

Questions before you order
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit with the standard intercooler?
Yes. It fits with factory-type intercoolers and Process West Stage 1 and Stage 2 intercoolers.
Do I need more transmission fluid?
Yes. The fitting guide allows 750 ml Mercon ULV when the starting level is correct. The installer must account for actual fluid loss and verify the final level.
Can it be fitted with Stage 2 already installed?
Yes, but the Stage 2 intercooler must be removed temporarily to access the fitting area.
Will it fix a gearbox that already overheats or shifts badly?
An existing problem needs diagnosis first. This cooler adds heat-management capacity; it is not a guaranteed repair for a transmission fault.
Fitment first
Check fit before you order
Model year, engine, drivetrain, hardware and existing modifications can all change what fits. Check the applications and supplier notes above, or send us your exact vehicle and setup before ordering.
