The S55 uses two high-pressure fuel pumps, and this kit upgrades both. The Standard Bore Plus pair provides 36% more fuel flow than stock, giving a tuned M3, M4 or M2 Competition more pump capacity for increased torque and ethanol use. It includes the plumbing and mounting parts needed to install the pair.

When the engine asks for more fuel under boost, rail pressure has to keep up with that demand. More pump capacity gives the calibrator room to supply the injectors at the intended pressure instead of reaching the stock pump limit. This kit supports a maximum operating pressure of 240 bar, with the final target set for the complete fuel system.
Upgraded injectors and the optional ethanol sensor are separate.
The kit installs without intake trimming or permanent modification of the original components. The manifold spacer and supplied plumbing create the required fit around the two pumps. That makes returning to the standard fuel system possible later, with the appropriate installation and calibration work.
For the BMW S55, including F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and F87 M2 Competition applications. Some supplementary methanol-injection plates obstruct pump installation. Nostrum has confirmed physical fit and operation with the Dorch lift kit, but has not established the performance limits of that combination and does not provide tuning support for it.
Arrange the calibration alongside fitting. The replacement pumps need the correct settings, and your tuner should assess injector capacity, low-pressure supply and fuel choice together. Custom tuning is separate from this hardware kit.
Nostrum's limited lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects in its manufactured parts, subject to its terms. Installation and removal labour, diagnostics, misuse and damage from incorrect installation or tuning are excluded.
For an S55 that also needs more injector capacity, compare the Stage 2 N55/S55 injectors with the Stage 3 N55/S55 injectors. Stage 3 is aimed at builds with larger turbos and supporting engine hardware; the matching injector data and fuel-system calibration are essential.
The BMW F-Series ESSIM ethanol-content kit is separate. It measures fuel ethanol content; ethanol-compatible pumps on their own do not measure the blend or turn a fixed-fuel tune into flex fuel. Match the sensor kit to the stated F-series application and calibration.
