Build for serious power, right through the transmission.
That harder pull through the gears is what you are building towards. Stage X supplies the transmission hardware behind it: Raybestos GPZ clutches, expanded E clutch capacity, Pro-Loc hydraulic upgrades, a replacement CDF drum and reaction shell, and a billet Pro-Loc torque converter for your 2022+ Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 petrol.
Stage X is the complete transmission rebuild we require for our high-horsepower Raptors. All four components are included, with options to add fitting and engine/transmission tuning.
The transmission behind your high-power build
The reward is in the way your Raptor pulls through the gears. Stage X combines quicker clutch application and shorter shifts with greater clutch holding capacity, addressing the heat and wear that come with harder use.
GPZ friction material adds heat resistance and smooth engagement. The expanded E module adds friction area, while Pro-Loc improves the oil circuits controlling the clutches and converter. Together with the new CDF drum, reaction shell and billet-stator converter, this is the complete hardware specification behind our high-horsepower builds.

Parts + Re-tune + Fitting
HOO-SC-10R60-STAGEX-PRF
£10,499.99
All four components, Stage X kit installation and engine/transmission re-tuning for existing Hoonies tuning customers.
All five options contain the same four components. Fitting adds £2,600 to the parts price; a new custom tune adds £1,500 and covers both the engine and transmission. The re-tune option is for existing Hoonies tuning customers and costs the same as Parts + Fitting.
Fitting covers installation of the Stage X kit. Transmission fluid and any additional work or repairs are charged separately. A completed Stage X rebuild requires a custom tune.
Supplied outright at the listed price, with no deposit or parts-exchange requirement.

Put the upgrade where the transmission works hardest
The E clutch switches on three times and off twice before the transmission reaches fifth gear. Those repeated applications make heat resistance and friction area particularly valuable as power and load rise. GPZ material provides stronger torque holding and smooth engagement through that repeated work.
The expanded E module uses five friction plates and six full-thickness steels, up from four and five. The extra friction area comes without thinning the steels. Its drum, piston and backing plate arrive assembled, ready for the rebuild.
Quicker shifts, with less heat during engagement
Pro-Loc changes the torque-converter clutch valve and oil passages so lock-up happens sooner, reducing wear during each application. Its regulator changes also bring the A, B, C and F clutches to full apply sooner, shortening shifts and reducing heat in the clutch packs.
The lubrication circuit feeds oil to the clutches, planetary gears and bushings at 20 psi, increased from a factory feed as low as 6 psi. The pump and valve-body changes add up to 60 psi of main-line pressure for stronger clamping, with a bypass releasing excess pressure above 420 psi.
The Stage 3 kit page explains each hydraulic change in more detail. In Stage X, that control works alongside the new medium-stall, six-stud Pro-Loc converter and its billet stator, bearings, friction material, hub and sprag assembly.
Buy together, or build up the parts over time
Buy the package to get all four components in one order, or use the individual listings to spread the purchases. The finished Stage X high-horsepower build requires every component installed and the custom tune completed.
Let us fit and tune the complete package
Choose Parts + Tune + Fitting and we install the Stage X kit and calibrate both the engine and transmission for the completed build. Existing Hoonies tuning customers can choose Parts + Re-tune + Fitting. Transmission fluid and any additional work or repairs are charged separately.
If your own transmission specialist is carrying out the rebuild, choose Parts Only or Parts + Tune. The installation needs the correct internal clearances, fluid specification and level, followed by the final checks before use. With an option that does not include tuning, arrange the required custom tune separately.
An existing flare between gears, shudder or unexpected shift change also needs diagnosis during the rebuild. Any additional faults or wear need to be addressed alongside the kit installation. Follow the workshop’s running-in and service guidance once the build is complete.
For UK customers, prices include VAT, customs and delivery unless checkout states otherwise. For customers outside the UK, local customs and taxes remain your responsibility, and shipping is shown at checkout. If a shipping option is not available, email us and we will prepare a tailored quote.

Questions before you order
Frequently asked questions
Is this a complete gearbox ready to fit?
It is the four-part rebuild package for your 10R60, not an assembled replacement transmission. The fitting options add the fitting service to those parts.
What does Stage X add over the Stage 3 kit?
The Stage 3 kit and Pro-Loc valve body are included in both. Stage X adds the CDF drum, OE reaction shell and 260 mm billet Pro-Loc converter.
Which option should I choose as an existing tuning customer?
Parts + Re-tune + Fitting includes the parts, Stage X kit installation and engine/transmission re-tune for existing Hoonies tuning customers. It costs £10,499.99; fluid and any additional work are separate.
Does tuning cover the engine and gearbox?
Yes. Both Tune and Re-tune cover engine and transmission calibration, so the two are set up together for the completed build.
What does the fitting price include?
Installation of the Stage X kit. Transmission fluid and any additional work or repairs are charged separately.
Can my own transmission specialist fit the parts?
Choose Parts Only if you are arranging the rebuild elsewhere. The specialist needs to follow the component and transmission procedures, and the completed Stage X rebuild requires a custom tune.
Do I need to add the converter or valve body to my basket too?
No. Both are in Stage X, together with the CDF drum and reaction shell. The individual listings are for separate purchases.
Do I need the whole Stage X package for a high-horsepower build?
Yes. Our high-horsepower Raptor builds require all four Stage X components and the custom tune. The individual components are not a substitute for the completed package.
Can I buy the parts in stages?
Yes. Each component has its own listing so you can spread the purchases. All four components still need to be installed, with the required custom tune completed, for the finished high-horsepower build.
