A bigger turbo is only useful if the engine can get the fuel it needs. This Stage 3 Race bundle pairs Nostrum's Big Bore high-pressure pump with Race direct injectors, giving a built-engine Focus RS a substantial step up in direct-injection capacity. The pump flows 63% more than stock and the injectors 45% more than the standard 2.3 EcoBoost injectors.

The pump supplies the high-pressure fuel, and the injectors deliver it into the cylinders. Increasing one side alone can leave the other as the limit. This bundle addresses both, making it a more complete choice for a build that has outgrown a smaller direct-injection upgrade. It does not require an auxiliary port-injection controller simply to operate the supplied pump and injectors.
We would put this on the shortlist for a built engine and a larger turbo where the fuel requirement exceeds the lower-stage bundle. The extra capacity needs to be matched to the turbo, fuel and calibration; fitting the hardware alone does not create a horsepower gain. A mild stock-turbo car may not need this much injector.
For a Focus RS 2.3 build that only needs the pump upgrade, our Big Bore HPFP kit H086-1116 is available separately. It does not include the Race injectors in this bundle.
A Speed Perf6rmanc3 Focus RS running this fuel-system combination achieved 480 whp on US 93-octane petrol and 570 whp on E60. Those are results from that modified development car, not a power promise for every RS. They show why both fuel choice and the rest of the build matter when planning the target.
Bundle H186-2095 combines the Big Bore HPFP kit and Race direct injectors with the installation hardware and instructions. The injectors use a double Teflon sealing arrangement and are compatible with ethanol fuels. Calibration is required and is separate from the hardware.
Arrange the calibration alongside the installation. The Race injectors have a maximum operating pressure of 200 bar, so their limits must be respected even where the pump has a higher pressure capability. Accurate injector data matters at idle and part throttle as well as at full load; this is a fuel-system upgrade for a properly calibrated build.

This bundle is designed to increase capacity on both sides of the high-pressure fuel system. It is useful when the build needs more than a pump-only or smaller injector upgrade can supply.
The components are ethanol compatible. The fuel blend still needs to match the calibration and the available fuel capacity throughout the system.
Yes. The calibration must use the correct pump and injector data and respect the Race injectors' 200 bar maximum pressure.
No tuning software or completed calibration is listed with this hardware bundle. Arrange the tuning separately.
Nostrum manufactured components have a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser, subject to the warranty terms. Nostrum excludes manufacturer warranty claims for Race injectors if the vehicle is tuned by TunePlus. Fitting and removal labour, misuse and incorrect installation are excluded.
