Stage 2 is where a Focus RS stops being fuel-limited anywhere useful. Nostrum pairs its Big Bore high pressure fuel pump, 1.83 cc/rev and 63 percent more flow than the factory unit, with four upgraded direct injectors flowing 19.7 g/s at 100 bar, 22 percent more than the standard 2.3 EcoBoost injector. Both sides carry the same 240 bar working pressure, which is the detail that matters: the pump can supply what the injectors can deliver, so the tuner is not managing a compromise. Boost can come in earlier and stay there, the car will take a real E85 calibration, and none of it needs a methanol tank or a port injection controller.
Stage 2 keeps 240 bar across the whole system, which makes it the sensible choice for a car that still has to behave on the road. Above it, the Stage 3 Race bundle swaps in much larger injectors that trade pressure ceiling for outright flow. Below it, the Big Bore pump kit alone is the same pump without injectors. Most RS owners not chasing a record end up here.
This package is for the 2016 onwards Ford Focus RS with the 2.3 EcoBoost. A tune is required and Nostrum names Tunewerks, JEM Sport and PD Tuning as tuners for this combination. Big Bore kits are made to order, so speak to us about timing before you book workshop space. The injectors go into the standard bores and the whole system stays under factory ECU management, including its diagnostics. Fitting instructions are supplied. If you are unsure, use a professional fitter, and tell us if the car is an import or already carries upgraded fuel hardware.

No, and avoiding that is the point of the package. Both parts work through the standard direct injection system, so there is no separate tank, pump, nozzle or controller to install and maintain.
It depends how big. Stage 2 keeps the full 240 bar ceiling and covers a wide range of builds; if the engine is built and the turbo is well beyond hybrid territory, the Race injectors in Stage 3 are the larger step.
