The Nostrum 640cc universal port fuel injector is the smaller of the two single-cone USCar injectors Nostrum sells loose, and the sensible first step for a port setup that needs more fuel than standard injectors will pass without jumping straight to a four-figure flow rate. The cone spray spreads fuel across a conventional inlet port rather than firing it at one point, the USCar plug is the connector most aftermarket looms are already built around, and each listing is a single injector, so the order matches the cylinder count rather than a fixed box quantity.
Injector size is really a duty cycle decision. At a given rail pressure and fuel, the injector has to pass what the engine asks for at full load while still metering cleanly at idle and part throttle, and 640 cc/min sits in the useful middle: comfortably above most standard port injectors, small enough that low-load pulse widths stay sensible. Go too big too early and the injector spends its life barely cracking open, which is why the 640 is worth weighing against the 800cc version before you commit. Same body, same plug, so the choice comes down to how much fuel each port has to pass.

Same single cone spray, same USCar plug, same universal format. The only thing that changes is flow: 640 cc/min here against 800 cc/min there. Pick on the fuel you are running and the duty you need in hand at full load.
Only if that harness is already USCar. Factory port injectors on many engines use a different plug, so check the connector on your loom, and browse the port fuel injector range if you need a Sumitomo-bodied injector instead.
