The APEX Composite Edition gives you the useful slide-valve control of an APEX inflator in an impact-resistant composite body. Connect the push-on chuck, slide to inflate and close the sleeve to stop and read. It is a straightforward tool to keep with your compressor for regular trips.

The 90 psi fluid-filled gauge resists the knocks and vibration of vehicle use, and its glow-in-the-dark markings help in low light. A 1 ft APEX nylon-braided hose whip and push-on chuck are supplied, together with an additional 3/8 swivel to 1/4 NPT fitting for adapting the air-source connection.
Use the appropriate outlet coupling to connect your air supply, or follow the guide's CRS reel connection route. An ARB twin compressor can provide the vehicle's tyre-inflation supply with the correct fittings and heat-rated hose arrangement.
For storage, add the composite universal gauge snap mount. X02-08-003 is the PPG mount and is not compatible with this inflator. If you prefer the stainless-steel and billet construction with a choice of gauge ranges and its own included mount, see the Precision Tyre Inflator.

The compatible composite universal gauge snap mount is optional. Do not select the X02-08-003 PPG mount for this inflator.
Yes. The guide shows disconnecting the air source and opening the sleeve to release air, then closing it to stop and check pressure.
