Roof tent, luggage, water and a full tank all add to the work your brakes have to do. The X-Line Stage 1 front kit upgrades the calipers, discs, pads and hoses together, giving your Land Cruiser more braking control and heat capacity for touring and towing. Choose the version that matches the original S14WK or S15WG front calipers, then your preferred colour.
Braking turns the vehicle's motion into heat. Extra weight and larger, heavier wheels increase that demand, which is why a modified vehicle can benefit from more than a fresh set of standard-size pads. This kit upgrades disc capacity, caliper control and hose construction together.
The rigid billet calipers resist flex, while stainless steel pistons slow heat transfer from the pads into the caliper and fluid. Braided hoses resist expansion under pressure. Those details help you apply and release the brakes more precisely, rather than simply making them look bigger behind the wheel.
The one-piece slotted discs use curved, directional cooling vanes to move air through the rotor. That matters when repeated braking keeps adding heat, such as on a loaded descent. Maximum Temperature Recording indicators on the discs and calipers leave a record of the temperatures reached, useful when reviewing pads and fluid for your use.
This is a front-axle upgrade. It does not replace the rear brakes.
First match S14WK or S15WG to the marking on your original front calipers. These are compatibility choices, not pad compounds or two levels of braking performance. Red anodised calipers give a more visible finish. Grey hard anodising is the more durable surface treatment in the X-Line range. Both colours retain the same braking hardware.

The kit is matched to Toyota Land Cruiser 250 2024+. Brake balance is engineered around the vehicle, so keep the application-specific components together.
Follow the bedding-in instructions supplied with the kit and inspect pads, hoses and discs as part of normal servicing. The temperature indicators can help identify whether your driving is putting unusual heat into the brakes. A sinking pedal, fluid leak or other brake fault needs diagnosis; an upgrade should not be used to cover up a fault.
