The 1780600 set suits the 1255mm-long 1770060 and 1770070 platforms. It attaches to the BASE Rack's perimeter dovetail, so you can add the rails around the equipment you carry and remove them when you prefer an open platform.
The open ends make the trade layout useful for longer items. Use rated restraints and keep any overhang within the vehicle and road rules that apply to your load.
