MTR indicators on discs and calipers
Give your Wrangler the braking to match its upgrades.
Larger tyres and touring equipment can change the way your JK feels under braking. Powerbrake Stage 1 replaces the front calipers, discs, pads and hoses as a matched kit, improving pedal control and resistance to heat-related fade. It is an upgrade you can appreciate on the way to the trail as well as on it.

Why a complete brake kit?
Braking turns the vehicle's motion into heat. Extra weight and larger, heavier wheels increase that demand, which is why a modified vehicle can benefit from more than a fresh set of standard-size pads. This kit upgrades disc capacity, caliper control and hose construction together.
The rigid billet calipers resist flex, while stainless steel pistons slow heat transfer from the pads into the caliper and fluid. Braided hoses resist expansion under pressure. Those details help you apply and release the brakes more precisely, rather than simply making them look bigger behind the wheel.
Heat management for repeated braking
The one-piece 350 x 34 mm slotted discs have 48 curved, directional cooling vanes to move air through the rotor. That matters when repeated braking keeps adding heat, such as on a loaded descent. Maximum Temperature Recording indicators on the discs and calipers leave a record of the temperatures reached, useful when reviewing pads and fluid for your use.
What comes in the kit
Front left and right X-Line six-piston billet calipers.
Front one-piece slotted discs.
High-performance pads pre-loaded into the calipers.
Billet caliper mounting brackets.
Stainless steel braided brake hoses.
Kit mounting hardware, fitting instructions and bedding-in instructions.
This is a front-axle upgrade. It does not replace the rear brakes.
Choose your calipers
Red anodised calipers give a more visible finish. Grey hard anodising is the more durable surface treatment in the X-Line range. Both colours retain the same braking hardware.

Wheel clearance and fitting
Check clearance using the template for the exact kit and your wheel; rim diameter alone does not establish spoke clearance. Professional installation and the supplied bedding-in procedure are important parts of getting the intended braking performance.
The kit is matched to Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018. Brake balance is engineered around the vehicle, so keep the application-specific components together.
Ownership and maintenance
Follow the bedding-in instructions supplied with the kit and inspect pads, hoses and discs as part of normal servicing. The temperature indicators can help identify whether your driving is putting unusual heat into the brakes. A sinking pedal, fluid leak or other brake fault needs diagnosis; an upgrade should not be used to cover up a fault.

Questions before you order
Frequently asked questions
Is this for both axles?
No. It upgrades the front brakes. The original rear brake configuration must match the application above.
Will it help with a heavier vehicle?
Yes. The kit is designed for the increased braking demand of modified and loaded vehicles, with improved cooling, fade resistance and pedal control. It does not increase the vehicle's permitted payload or towing capacity.
Will it fit behind my wheels?
Check the exact kit's wheel-clearance template against your wheel, including the spokes and balance weights. Wheel diameter alone is not enough to confirm clearance.
Is Stage 1 the right version for road and normal off-road use?
Yes. For normal road and off-road use, we recommend the Stage 1 kit offered here.
Are pads and brake hoses included?
Yes. The kit includes pre-loaded pads and stainless steel braided hoses, along with the calipers, discs, brackets and mounting hardware.
Fitment first
Check fit before you order
Model year, engine, drivetrain, hardware and existing modifications can all change what fits. Check the applications and supplier notes above, or send us your exact vehicle and setup before ordering.
