A larger turbo can move the target beyond the stock fuel system. This Stage 3 bundle pairs a Gauntlet high-pressure pump with Stage 3 direct injectors for the N55, addressing pump delivery and injector flow together. The Gauntlet pump family adds 70% more flow than stock, while the Stage 3 injectors flow 85% more, giving a properly calibrated build considerably more direct-injection capacity.

A higher-flow pump cannot remove an injector limit, and larger injectors still need a pump that can supply them. Pairing the two gives the tuner more capacity on both sides of the high-pressure system. It keeps the fuel delivery through the direct injectors, rather than requiring auxiliary port injection just to operate this hardware.
The Gauntlet pump uses a cast stainless-steel body and a 1.516 cc/rev displacement. The Stage 3 injectors deliver 20.2 g/s at 100 bar using Viscor 16A test fluid, compared with 10.9 g/s for the standard injectors. They are ethanol compatible and retain direct-fit installation with pre-installed decoupling rings. Those are component specifications; the complete build must still be sized around its lowest fuel-system limit.
Bundle H186-2114 combines the N55 Gauntlet HPFP and Stage 3 direct-injector upgrade. It is aimed at a build needing more fuel than the standard direct-injection system can deliver. It does not suit early N55 installations using the N54-style high-pressure pump.
The ECU needs calibration for both the pump and injectors before the engine is started with the new hardware. EcuTek and bootmod3 are the named tuning suites for the Stage 3 injectors; the calibration needs to support both the pump and injectors. Software licensing and the completed calibration are separate from the bundle.
For the compatible later-pump N55 application, we also offer the Gauntlet HPFP kit and N55 Stage 3 direct injectors separately. Injector compatibility with an S55 does not make this N55 pump fit an S55.

No. For compatible BMW F-Series N55 installations, the F-Series ESSIM ethanol-content module kit is separate. Its vehicle-specific wiring must suit the car, and the calibration must support the chosen sensor input.
