A HardLid or bed rack makes your Raptor more useful for carrying equipment and keeping the load bed organised. The 4140138 J-Brace Kit provides the supplementary tub reinforcement specified for the matched ARB installation on the Ranger Raptor Mk8 2023+.

This is the 4140138 kit for the Raptor application. The current ARB application guide specifies it with the matched HardLid installation and lists it alongside the compatible bed rack, making the reinforcement part of the accessory installation.
Install the J-brace to the relevant ARB instructions before completing the lid or rack installation. Keep the complete system within its load limits and account for the weight of any racks, mounts and accessories before adding cargo.

The Raptor application uses 4140138. The separate 4140135 Ranger and Amarok kit has its own application and should not be substituted.
For the matched Raptor HardLid installation, the J-brace is specified as mandatory. The compatible bed rack is also listed with this reinforcement in the ARB application guide.
The carrying limit remains that of the complete vehicle, lid or rack installation. Include the weight of the accessories and mounting equipment within that limit.
