Ruts, stones and uneven tracks put the front underside of a Raptor to work. The Almont Continental guard adds an 8 mm aluminium-alloy shield across that exposed area, helping protect important components as you enjoy the truck beyond smooth tarmac.
This is the Continental configuration for mixed use in cooler climates. For a UK-based Raptor doing road miles, wet tracks and European trips, it is the front guard we would start with—provided the cooling layout matches the installation.

The shaped plate covers the front radiator-guard area, front differential, engine, steering gearbox, front transmission area and air-conditioning condenser. It is a substantial front protection component, not a complete set of armour for the entire underside.
Almont uses certified EN AW-5083 H111 aluminium alloy in its HeavyDuty 8 mm specification. The guard weighs 18 kg, which needs to be included in the vehicle’s accessory and axle-load planning.
Continental is designed for humid, cool and snowy conditions, with ambient temperatures rarely exceeding 35°C. Choose it for normal mixed use without intensive dune driving or supplementary transmission coolers.
For repeated hot-climate or dune use, we would favour the Emirat design. It is intended for installations needing more cooling airflow around those front-end components. This is a use and airflow choice, not simply a different name for the same plate.
The front guard can form the start of an Almont underside installation. The gearbox/transfer plate extends coverage rearwards and relies on the matching front plate for its linked mountings.
The gearbox plate and fuel-tank guard are separate purchases. Choose each section around the components you want to protect and the tank already fitted.
Have the mounting arrangement and clearance checked against your bull bar, cooling upgrades and any body lift before fitting. An impact guard is not a recovery point or a jacking point unless the instructions explicitly identify it as one.
After off-road use, clear trapped mud and inspect the plate, mounts and nearby components. A substantial strike calls for a closer inspection even if the outer surface still looks sound.
