The obstacle does not stop at the front bash plate. As the Raptor passes over a crest or uneven ledge, the middle of the vehicle needs attention too. Almont’s gearbox and transfer guard extends the protected area rearwards, including the fuel-line area covered by this application.
The petrol V6 part is PDFRB28Raptor. It is an 8 mm alloy guard that must be installed with the matching Almont front plate because their mounting points are linked.

The plate covers the gearbox and transfer area, with application-specific coverage for the fuel-line/filter area. Almont uses EN AW-5083 H111 aluminium alloy in its HeavyDuty 8 mm specification; the guard weighs 12 kg.
It is the logical next guard when you are building coverage along the underside, rather than protecting only the first area to meet a rock or rut. Fuel-tank protection remains a separate component further back.
This guard must be installed with the matching Almont front plate because their mounting points are linked. Budget for both if the correct front protection is not already fitted.
We would choose the front guard around the climate and cooling layout—Continental for its intended cooler mixed use, or Emirat for hot-climate and dune requirements—then have the installer verify the complete mounting combination.
The V6 petrol and 2.0 diesel versions use different references. Select the Raptor V6 3.0 vehicle option for PDFRB28Raptor; the diesel reference is PDFRB38Raptor.
This is not the gearbox guard for the previous-generation 2019–2022 diesel Raptor.
The guard fits without drilling, using the linked front mountings. Fitting includes checking transmission and exhaust clearance and securing the hardware.
Inspect the plate and mounts after rough use, clear trapped mud and look for evidence of contact with the components above. A protection plate is not permission to use it as a recovery or jacking point.
