The Apex Chassis KIT140 2.5-Ton ProLock Steering Kit gives a built JK the steering its tyres deserve. The 2007-2018 Wrangler JK is the most modified Jeep on the road, and its factory tie rod and drag link are the known weak point once 35s, lockers and trail miles arrive - flex, worn adjusters and death wobble follow. This kit replaces the lot with 2.5-ton polished aluminium rods, integrated adjusting sleeves, forged steel ends and ProLock locking hardware, and it clears AEV and factory Rubicon wheels with no spacer needed. It is a genuine Apex Chassis part, imported to the UK.
Confirm your JK runs stock Dana 30/44 axles before ordering - fitment shown is manufacturer reference. If the build carries aftermarket knuckles, a dual stabiliser or high-steer parts, check clearance against the oversized components first. Fit, set the ProLock hardware, then book a full alignment; the locking system holds that setting through the abuse that used to undo it.

KIT140 uses 2.5-ton components and clears AEV/Rubicon wheels without a spacer; the 1-ton KIT155 is the lighter-duty version and needs a 1.5 inch spacer with those wheels. For heavy tyres and hard use, this is the stronger route.
It removes the linkage flex and self-loosening that feed wobble. Inspect track bar, ball joints and damper too - the fix sticks when every worn part is addressed.
