A clear, dependable gauge makes it easier to get the pressures you want before the road or trail. The APEX Precision Pressure Gauge combines a large analogue face with fluid damping and phosphorescent markings, giving you a premium tool you can pick up and use without connecting a compressor.

The 0-40 psi version gives lower off-road pressures more space on the scale. The 0-90 psi version is the useful choice when your tow vehicle, trailer or other tyres need readings above 40 psi. Both have +/-0.5 psi accuracy and 0.05 psi repeatability; the repeatability figure is not the accuracy tolerance.
The gauge uses stainless steel, hard-coated 6061-T6 aluminium and a fluid-filled mechanism to resist the shock and vibration of off-road use. The swivel joint helps you position it for a readable view. Keep the gauge upright when using the atmospheric vent so you do not lose its damping fluid.
The current PPG includes a high-flow push-on chuck. For a compatible longer replacement lead, use APEX braided air line and the correct end fittings.
Pair the PPG with Rapid Precision Valves to watch the pressure while the valve releases air. If you want one compressor-fed tool to inflate as well as read, choose the Precision Tyre Inflator instead.
The PPG snap mount gives this gauge a secure storage point, while the lens protector helps keep the face clear. Those accessories are separate from the gauge.

No. Attach the PPG to the tyre valve to read pressure. The PTI is the separate compressor-fed inflator if you want to add air as well.
Choose the 0-40 psi scale when all the pressures you need are within that range. Choose 0-90 psi when your tyre-pressure requirements extend above 40 psi.

It equalises the gauge case with atmospheric pressure to help accuracy. Hold the gauge upright while using it to avoid losing fluid.
