Push on, set your pressure and move to the next wheel without winding a chuck on and off. This X02-12-002 version fits directly to 3/8 in outside-diameter APEX braided hose, making it a useful choice for your CRS hose end or a closed-flow multi-tyre branch.

Push the chuck onto a Schrader valve to connect with little force. The hardened stainless steel retention paws hold the threads without damaging them during attachment or removal, while the hard-anodised finish resists scratches and dents. It is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and rebuildable, making it a useful upgrade for equipment you use trip after trip.
The design opens the Schrader core fully to reduce restriction at the valve. Your compressor, hose and tyre still affect filling time; changing the chuck does not increase the compressor's output.
It arrives in closed-flow form and includes an open-flow adapter. Closed flow stops air escaping when the chuck is disconnected, which is essential on a multi-tyre hose assembly. Use the included open-flow adapter for the Precision Tyre Inflator or Precision Pressure Gauge, following the conversion guide.
Fit it to the matching APEX braided air line, which is 3/8 in OD with a 1/4 in bore. The Compact Reel System is a natural companion when you want that hose stored neatly in the vehicle. Follow the fitting guide when preparing and securing the hose end.
If you are building a complete tyre-inflation installation, the ARB CKMTA12 twin compressor is an on-board air-source option. Compressor connections and heat-rated feed plumbing are separate from this hose-end chuck.
The APEX chuck rebuild kit is available for servicing. Replacement closed-flow and open-flow spring stops are also listed if you lose an adapter; both modes are already supplied with this dual-flow chuck.
