The ix35 and Sportage are the same crossover under the skin, and they share this Ramair dual-layer foam panel. It replaces the paper element in the standard airbox across the petrol, GDI and CRDi ranges - one washable filter for the family school-run 4WD instead of a new paper one at every service.
Whichever badge is on the nose, the swap is identical: open the airbox, lift out the paper element, seat the foam panel. When it loads up, wash and re-treat it with the CK-003 cleaning kit (sold separately) and it goes back to work.
