Big Bore is the larger pump body in Nostrum's 2.7 EcoBoost ladder, for Edge ST and Lincoln Nautilus owners who have stopped asking polite questions of the engine. It moves 46% more fuel than the original pump, displaces 1869 ccm per cam revolution and works to 250 bar, so it holds rail pressure on straight E85 at boost levels that leave a standard pump nowhere to go. Nostrum quotes it as good for up to 829 whp on petrol or 672 whp on E85 once turbo, calibration and supporting hardware are all there. It also plumbs differently to the smaller pump: the 1150-250 has an integrated AN06 fitting and comes with AN adapters and a 3/8 quick-connect male AN fitting for an upgraded feed.
The two 2.7 pumps answer different questions. The 1050-250 Standard Bore Plus, at 22% over stock, is the sensible ethanol conversion for a car keeping its factory turbo. Big Bore is aimed at a 2.7 pushed further: a bigger turbo, a built bottom end, or a car that lives on E85 all year. If your build plan already includes turbo work, buying Big Bore first saves fitting a pump twice.

Not harmful, but the smaller 1050-250 Standard Bore Plus kit is the better match for a factory-turbo 2.7 on an ethanol map. Big Bore earns its place once boost, turbo or engine internals have moved on.
A pump this size gives the nozzles somewhere to go, so most cars at this level pair it with an upgraded injector set. The matched route is the Edge ST Stage 3 bundle, which combines this pump kit with the Stage 2 six-injector set.
It gives the pump an AN feed connection rather than only the factory quick-connect, which suits cars with an uprated lift pump or reworked low-pressure side. Adapters back to a 3/8 quick-connect are supplied if you keep the standard feed.
