The first rung of Nostrum's fuelling ladder for the 3.0 EcoBoost Nano V6 arrives as one matched package: a Big Bore high pressure fuel pump kit carrying 47% more flow than the factory HPFP, plus six flow-matched Stage 1 direct injectors carrying 11% more than standard. It is aimed at the point where a stock-turbo Explorer ST, Explorer Platinum or Lincoln Aviator starts losing commanded rail pressure — more boost, a cooler day, or a tank of ethanol, and the standard pump can no longer keep the rail full. Taking pump and injectors together sizes the fuelling as a set.
The cam-driven HPFP is the usual first limit on a direct-injection turbo V6. Ask for more boost, or switch to ethanol which needs roughly 30% more fuel by mass than 93 octane for the same job, and the standard pump runs short of volume before anything else complains. The Big Bore kit answers that with 47% more flow to a 248 bar maximum.
Stage 1 is the smallest injector move Nostrum offers on this engine, and that is the point of it. An 11% step leaves idle quality and part-throttle behaviour close to standard, which keeps a daily-driven Explorer straightforward to calibrate. The same Big Bore pump carries over to the Stage 2 bundle, so a later step only changes injectors. Both halves are sold alone as the Explorer HPFP kit and the Stage 1 injector set.

The two limits arrive close together. An upgraded pump feeding standard injectors moves the restriction to the injectors; larger injectors on the standard pump run the rail down.
It is ethanol compatible, with a 650 WHP E85 capacity quoted for the fuel system. Reaching that depends on turbochargers, tank supply and the tune.
No. The ESSIM module for the 3.0 EcoBoost Explorer is a separate kit.
