This Stage 1 bundle gives the 3.0 EcoBoost a matched pump-and-injector upgrade for a tuned daily driver or a stock-turbo build with supporting modifications. The Big Bore HPFP adds 47% more flow than the stock pump, and six flow-matched Stage 1 injectors add 11% over the standard 3.0 injectors. It is a way to put more fuel capacity behind the performance you are planning.

Pump capacity and injector capacity have to work together. This bundle upgrades both while retaining the factory direct-injection layout. The injectors preserve an OEM-equivalent spray pattern, so the development is about how the fuel is delivered as well as how much can flow. Correct calibration remains essential to use that hardware well.
The bundle has a fuel-capacity potential of 875 whp on petrol or 650 whp on E85. Those are fuel-system capacity figures, not the output of a stock-turbo Explorer after installation. Airflow, engine strength, low-pressure supply, fuel and calibration still determine what the complete vehicle can achieve. E85 needs more fuel volume, which is why its capacity figure is lower.

For the 2020+ Ford Explorer ST/Platinum 3.0 EcoBoost, 2020+ Lincoln Aviator 3.0 and the 2019-2020 Lincoln Continental 3.0. HP Tuners is the recommended tuning suite. Have the correct pump and injector data included in the calibration before using the extra capacity.
The components are ethanol compatible, so you can plan around petrol or a suitable ethanol blend. The low-pressure side still needs to supply enough fuel, and the blend must match the tune. Ethanol compatibility does not mean an ethanol sensor or automatic flex-fuel control is included.

Yes. Stage 1 is aimed at stock-turbo and minor bolt-on builds needing more fuel capacity. The calibration and fuel choice still have to suit the vehicle.
The pump and injectors are ethanol compatible. For the Explorer ST or Aviator 3.0 application, the ESSIM ethanol sensor kit is separate. It measures the blend; a compatible calibration is needed to use that signal for flex-fuel control.
Replace the injector seals as required during refitting. Ford seal kit CM5314 services three injectors, so two kits are needed for all six.
Nostrum manufactured parts have a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser, subject to its terms. Labour, misuse and incorrect installation are excluded.
