A stock Mk7 Fiesta ST feels quick until you ask it for more boost or a real ethanol blend, and then the factory high pressure fuel pump runs out well before the engine does. This is Nostrum's Standard Bore Plus pump kit for the 1.6 EcoBoost Fiesta ST: a laser-welded assembly with 1.03 cc/rev of geometric displacement, moving 36 percent more fuel than standard. It lets a tuner hold rail pressure through the midrange, bring boost in earlier for stronger low-end torque, and run full pump E85 instead of mixing at the forecourt and hoping the ethanol content holds. Nostrum builds it as a direct bolt-on kit that reuses the standard low-pressure feed line.
A direct-injection pump is camshaft driven, so its output is tied to engine speed as well as size. On the 1.6 EcoBoost the factory unit is the first thing to give up once boost or ethanol content climbs, and rail pressure falls away exactly where you want torque. The pump fixes supply, an injector fixes delivery, which is why this one usually goes on first.
The pump is commanded to 180 bar as standard and capable of 240, but the factory rail sensor stops reading at 20 MPa, so the higher figure needs a sensor swap; Nostrum names the genuine Bosch 0261545040 for that route. It rates the step from 200 to 240 bar at roughly 10 percent more injector flow, worth planning if a set of high flow 1.6 injectors is coming next.
This kit covers the 1.6 EcoBoost Fiesta ST built between 2014 and 2019. A calibration is required; Nostrum lists COBB, and names Dizzy Tuning, Stratified, Livernois, PHUL Performance and Tunewerks among its tuners. The standard low-pressure feed line is reused and reshaped with the supplied fixture, so allow workshop time for it. Fitting instructions are in the box. If you are unsure, use a professional fitter, and tell us if the car is an import.

No. The pump is the supply limit and works on its own with a tune. For higher power on ethanol, the matched pump and injector bundle covers both in one job.
That is the main reason people fit it. The pump is ethanol compatible and Nostrum positions it for full pump E85 rather than a fixed blend, provided the calibration suits the fuel you actually run.
The standard low-pressure feed line is kept rather than replaced, and it needs reshaping to meet the new pump. The fixture is the jig that gets that bend right.
