This MST Performance silicone boost hose kit rebuilds the MK3 Focus diesel's charge-air plumbing in materials that last: 5-ply and 3-ply silicone construction with stainless steel wire reinforcement, replacing the factory rubber hoses as a direct swap. Covering the 1.5 TDCi (2014-2022), 1.6 TDCi (2010-2020) and 2.0 TDCi (2011-2020), the smooth internal surface keeps airflow clean while the layered construction resists heat, pressure and age.
Multi-ply silicone with wire reinforcement holds its shape under boost, so the hose neither balloons nor collapses as pressure swings — that is what the 5-ply and 3-ply construction is for.
