The 2015-on WRX swapped legendary EJ character for the efficient FA20DIT - and lost most of its intake voice in the process. This MST Performance cold air intake system brings it back, replacing the restrictive standard air box with precision-engineered aluminium pipework designed for faster, less turbulent airflow into the turbo. The result is a WRX that breathes cleaner and sounds like a turbocharged Subaru again. Fits WRX 2.0 models from 2015 on, with all fittings for a direct OEM-replacement install.
MST design intakes to accelerate air while minimising turbulence and restriction, using top-quality components across the kit. On the direct-injection 2.0 turbo that shows up as a cleaner feed under boost and an intake note the standard box completely suppresses. Standard or tuned, the WRX simply feels more like itself with the engine audible.
For the 2.0-litre turbo WRX from 2015 on. The STI of the same era keeps the 2.5 engine and uses the MST STI 2.5 intake kit - so check which engine sits in your car and confirm the part number before ordering.
