This MST Performance cold air intake for the 2012-2015 Civic 1.8L replaces the muffled factory setup with aluminium pipework and a heat-shielded washable nanofiber filter, so the engine's top-end eagerness finally has a soundtrack — with a direct-fit install that keeps the bay clean and the car easy to live with.
Without a turbo to dominate the acoustics, a naturally aspirated Honda breathes audibly — cam change and all — once the factory intake muffling is replaced. MST's system keeps the filter shielded from engine-bay heat and uses smooth aluminium runs, tested as a complete kit, so the character comes through without rough edges.
