On an M3 or M4 Competition, the S58's factory inlet pipework is the restrictive link between air box and turbochargers. This MST Performance inlet pipe kit replaces it with precision-made high-flow hardware, engineered as a direct swap for the standard part. It is the focused upgrade for S58 owners building the intake side properly: better flow where the twin-turbo six actually draws its air, on G80 M3, G20/G28-coded cars and the M4 Competition G22/G82, from 2021 on.
Inlet pipes rarely get the attention filters do, yet on a twin-turbo engine they carry every gram of air the turbos swallow. For a car as capable as the Competition-spec M3/M4, it is the unglamorous upgrade that makes the rest of the intake work properly.
For S58-engined Competition cars from 2021 on: M3 Competition (G20 G28 G80 codes) and M4 Competition (G22 G82). Standard 3 and 4 Series B58 models use different MST kits, so verify your car is the S58 Competition and confirm the part number before ordering. If you are planning filter or air box changes too, fit them in the same session to save duplicate strip-down time.
