Extra light without changing your Defender's character
You can make a big difference to the view ahead without putting an oversized lighting frame across your Defender. These Lazer bumper-mounted packages combine the selected light with the mounting arrangement for your vehicle, giving you useful illumination and a tidy installation.
Choose your light kit
For a Defender 2020+, first choose the mounting position and lamp shape: round Sentinel 9 lamps on the bumper-beam mounts, one slim Linear-18 in the centre bumper opening, or a compact pair of Linear-6 lamps. Sentinel kits require Slim Mount lamps; Wide Mount versions do not fit. Then choose the grade or function actually offered for that mounting arrangement, or its matching Brackets Only option without lamps or wiring.

Give your Defender the light to match its character
A pair of round Sentinel lamps looks right on a Defender, but the real reward comes when the road or track disappears into darkness. This vehicle-specific mount positions the lights securely at the front of your 2020+ Defender, with the support needed to keep the beam steady.
Choose a paired Sentinel 9 package in the available finish and grade, or choose brackets only if you already have the correct lamps. The brackets sit behind the bumper surround, so the finished installation looks deliberate and well integrated.
A secure fit matters as much as the lamps
Folded 3 mm A2 stainless-steel brackets mount to the bumper beam. E-coating beneath the satin-black powder coat adds corrosion protection, while the supplied stabilising bars help control movement and vibration.
The mounting arrangement is designed for Sentinel 9 lamps with Slim Mount fittings. Wide Mount Sentinel versions are not compatible with this kit.
Choose your Sentinel package
Brackets Only supplies the mounting arrangement without lamps or wiring. The Black and Chrome choices supply the corresponding pair of Sentinel 9 lamps; the two Elite choices add the Elite lamps, with the separate Elite With Position Light option for that function.
The Standard Sentinel pair delivers 19,040 raw lumens and 1,000 m at 1 lux in Boost mode. Its approved E-Mark mode has reduced output: 3,808 raw lumens and 447 m at 1 lux.
Choose Elite for stronger off-road illumination across the ground ahead. Each lamp uses 32 premium LEDs with spot and wide optics, while 5,000 K light and 80 CRI help bring out detail and definition. The Elite beam is 52 degrees horizontally and 14 degrees vertically. Its Boost output is separate from the approved lower-output E-Mark mode.
Choose the position-light version if that extra appearance matters to you, rather than assuming every Elite lamp has it. Road approval depends on the selected lamp, its approved output mode and the installation.

Raw lumens describe the light generated by the LEDs. Driver field-of-view flux measures the light within 45 degrees either side and 10 degrees above and below the driver's view. Lux-distance figures describe the specified illumination level at that distance; they are not a promise that every object can be seen from that far away.
Fitting and electrical connection
Follow the Defender-specific instructions for the bumper-beam fixing, rivets, stabilising bars and grille trimming. Have the lamps aimed and the fasteners checked before night use.
The lamp packages supply the selected pair with the mounting kit. Wiring must match the selected lamp and its position-light connections; a CAN interface is separate where needed. Talk to us if you would like us to help plan that connection.
Frequently asked questions
Does Brackets Only include the lights?
No. It provides the vehicle mounting arrangement. The selected paired-lamp packages add the appropriate lamps; Brackets Only excludes lamps and wiring.
Can I fit Sentinel Wide Mount lamps?
No. This Defender kit is designed for Sentinel 9 Slim Mount versions.
Do all five choices have the same light output?
No. Brackets Only has no lamps, and the Standard and Elite choices use different lamps. The 19,040-lumen Boost figure and 1,000 m at 1 lux quoted here are for a pair of Standard Sentinel 9 lamps.
Is fitting just a bolt-on job?
No. The instructions include grille removal and trimming, rivet drilling and preparation of the stay bars. Use the exact Defender instructions for a secure result.
Will I need a CAN interface?
It depends on the headlight system and usable high-beam signal. LED Matrix-equipped vehicles can need a compatible separate interface.

See more at night and keep the front end looking right
The drive in your Land Rover Defender does not have to finish when the daylight does. This Lazer lighting kit gives you a clearer view ahead, with lamps positioned neatly at the front of the vehicle rather than a large exposed bar dominating its appearance.
Vehicle fitment
For Defender 2020+, with the specified bumper mounting arrangement.
A lighting upgrade you will enjoy using
A useful beam is about more than a bright spot in the distance. Light across the road edges and the surrounding ground helps you read bends, entrances and uneven terrain, while the selected lamp's long-range beam extends your view ahead.
The vehicle-specific mounting arrangement holds the lights in the intended position and gives the installer a secure way to aim them. The lamp choice and operating mode determine the output and approved use; a grille mount alone does not make every lamp function road approved.
Choose the light for your journeys
Choose the mounting-only option if you already have the matching lamps. It excludes lamps and wiring. The named lamp options add the selected lamps to the vehicle-specific mounting arrangement.
Linear-18 gives you a slim bar with a broad view of the road. Standard has a lower electrical draw; Elite puts more light across the same discreet mounting position.
The Linear-18 Elite position-light option adds a white position light as well as its high beam. It has its own output and connector specification.
The i-LBA option adds Intelligent Low Beam Assist. After more than three seconds of high-beam use, it enters assist when the high beam is switched off, unless disabled with its separate switch. Its sensors respond to oncoming light and reflective signs, reducing the affected light zones. Lazer recommends mounting below 1 m for best sensor performance and keeping the lens clean. It is not an approved dipped-beam headlamp; use its approved E-Mark high-beam mode where required.
Technical specifications
Figures are for one Linear-18 lamp in the stated mode. A lux-distance is measured at the stated illumination threshold. i-LBA Boost output is separate from its approved E-Mark high beam.

Fitting your lights
For Defender 2020+ with the specified centre bumper opening. Fitting removes the grille and surround, reuses the headlight mounting bolt and drills a 5 mm second fixing point for the supplied rivet and washer. Do not switch on the ignition while the radar sensor is unplugged. Follow the Linear-18 guide, including the headlight-specific high-beam connection.
Fitting and high-beam connection
Follow the exact vehicle fitting instructions for the mounting position, trimming, fixing holes and cable route. Have the lamps aimed together where a pair is fitted and test the switching before use.
The electrical connection needs the correct fused supply and high-beam trigger. A compatible CAN interface is a separate installation component where the vehicle does not provide the required conventional signal. Talk to us if you would like help choosing that connection.
Looking after your lights
Keep the lenses clean and check the fixings, cable protection and electrical connections during servicing. The quoted LED design life is not a guarantee of the complete installation's lifespan, and the warranty remains subject to its terms.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use the highest output on the road?
Use the approved operating mode for the exact selected lamp and a compliant installation. Boost output and functions such as amber position lighting, warning beacons or yellow off-road lighting have separate conditions.

Standard draws less power; Elite gives a broader beam and 8,100 raw lumens per pair, compared with Standard's 4,500. Both use the same compact mounting format.
Technical specifications
Output, power and current in the pair comparison are for TWO lamps. The 1 lux distances are measured pair figures, not individual-lamp distances multiplied by two. Lamp grade and mode determine road approval.

Installation details
Remove the grille and disconnect the radar sensor with the ignition off. Drill the specified 5 mm inboard holes and fit the rivets with backing washers. The brackets have a satin-black finish. Matrix/CAN connection depends on the usable trigger; use the exact vehicle guide.
When combining different Lazer lamp types on the same vehicle, match their start-up delays. Start-up time is the delay between applying power and the lamp lighting.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use the highest output on the road?
These selected lamps have the road high-beam approval and reference shown for their exact specification. Wire them for compliant high-beam switching and aim them correctly. They do not add yellow or warning-beacon modes.
Applies to: VIFK-DEF2020-01K, VIFK-DEF2020-01KL6, VIFK-DEF2020-01KL6E, VIFK-DEF2020-02K, VIFK-DEF2020-02K1L18EPL, VIFK-DEF2020-02K1L18iLBA, VIFK-DEF2020-02KL18, VIFK-DEF2020-02KL18E
It supplies the mounting arrangement without lamps or wiring. Select the appropriate named lamp package if you need the lamps as well.
Will it switch with my high beams?
Applies to: VIFK-DEF2020-01K, VIFK-DEF2020-01KL6, VIFK-DEF2020-01KL6E, VIFK-DEF2020-02K, VIFK-DEF2020-02K1L18EPL, VIFK-DEF2020-02K1L18iLBA, VIFK-DEF2020-02KL18, VIFK-DEF2020-02KL18E
The installation needs a usable high-beam signal. Where the vehicle does not provide one, a compatible separate CAN interface is needed. Test the actual signal rather than assuming every LED-headlight vehicle uses the same connection.
What is the difference between lumens and lux distance?
Applies to: VIFK-DEF2020-01K, VIFK-DEF2020-01KL6, VIFK-DEF2020-01KL6E, VIFK-DEF2020-02K, VIFK-DEF2020-02K1L18EPL, VIFK-DEF2020-02K1L18iLBA, VIFK-DEF2020-02KL18, VIFK-DEF2020-02KL18E
Raw lumens describe the light generated by the LEDs. Driver field-of-view flux describes useful light within 45 degrees either side and 10 degrees above and below the driver's view. A lux-distance figure states the illumination level at that distance, rather than how far every object can be seen.
