Choose a matched Kooks kit for your GM V8

Upgrade your supported GM 1500 truck or SUV with 1-3/4" Kooks long tube headers and a supplied Performance-catted Y-pipe. This package covers the listed 1999-2006 4.8- and 5.3-litre applications, connecting to the OEM rear exhaust.

The 1-3/4-inch package

The headers use 3" collectors feeding the matching 3" stainless Y-pipe. This is the smaller-primary package alongside the separate 1-7/8" kit, giving you a choice to discuss around your engine and intended modifications.

Keep a rear exhaust using the factory interface

The Y-pipe has an OEM rear outlet, so a compatible rear system can remain in place. The Performance catalysts are for naturally aspirated engines; choose a forced-induction catalyst arrangement for a boosted build.

Fitting your exhaust

Some installations with 90-degree spark-plug boots need the wires modified as shown in the fitting guide, or replaced with suitable aftermarket wires.
