Enjoy more V8 character while keeping your C8 RS6 or RS7's original front silencers. This Milltek system replaces the centre and rear exhaust with an active centre section, valved outlets and polished or black oval tips. It puts the upgrade into the sound and finish you want to change, while retaining the front silencing already on the car.

Keeping the factory front silencers makes the scope of this upgrade straightforward: the change is in the centre and rear system, with active valve operation and the new tailpipe finish. For an owner who wants to enjoy more of the V8 while keeping those original front sections, that is a useful alternative to buying a system that replaces them. The centre and rear sections still change the exhaust note, so the cabin sound will differ from the factory system.
We would choose this when keeping the original front silencing is part of the plan. SSXAU862 brings polished oval tips; SSXAU863 gives the same exhaust a black finish. If you want replacement front sections as well, choose the appropriate full cat-back package.

The system joins behind the original front silencers using the supplied OE adaptors. The fitting kit includes chassis-brace spacers and the active-centre wiring. Professional installation should set the pipe clearances and oval-tip alignment, then confirm that the valves operate correctly.

No. This system retains the original front silencers and replaces the exhaust behind them.
Polished oval tips with SSXAU862 or Cerakote black oval tips with SSXAU863.
The finish changes the appearance of the tips. It does not change the underlying exhaust configuration shown in the option table.
Let the exhaust cool before cleaning. Wash road salt and dirt from the tips regularly with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner suitable for their finish. Have any new rattle checked for loose fittings or contact with the bodywork.
Choose it when you want to retain the original front silencers and upgrade the centre and rear exhaust. A different cat-back configuration also changes those front sections, so the distinction is the hardware you want to replace as well as the sound you prefer.
