A roof rack is only as useful as the mounting system beneath it. The ARB 3700040 HT2 kit provides four gutter-mount legs for the corresponding classic rack application, giving you the mounting components to fit that rack to the vehicle it was designed for.

This is a gutter fitting kit for selected ARB classic roof racks. The rack code, gutter layout and vehicle body all matter. For example, the ARB application guide pairs it with 1100 x 1350mm Deluxe racks on relevant Defender applications; some longer racks require two kits.
Use the specified combination for your vehicle. A four-leg kit should not be treated as a universal mount for every guttered vehicle or as a BASE Rack blade kit.
Once the right rack and mounts are fitted, you can keep bulky equipment outside the cabin and free up space for passengers and everyday gear. The usable load must stay within the lowest applicable vehicle, rack and mounting limits, including the weight of the rack itself.
Have the installation checked for even seating, correct clamp tension and clearance. Inspect the mounts and cargo restraints as part of preparation for a trip.
