Lower tyre pressures can be useful off road; putting the air back in should be straightforward when you return to the road. ARB's brushless twin portable compressor brings high-flow air, an integrated tank and a 7 m hose together in a carry case. Take it to the vehicle that needs air, connect it correctly and work around the tyres without a permanent under-bonnet installation.

The twin brushless motors deliver 260 litres per minute at zero pressure and 176 litres per minute at 29 psi. Those are different test points: free-air output describes unloaded flow, while the 29 psi measurement shows flow against pressure. You have ample air available for tyre inflation, and the pressure-based figure helps you match the compressor to other equipment.
The case houses the compressor and aluminium air tank, with space for the supplied 7 m hose and accessories. The kit includes a blow gun, high-flow tyre filler with stop valve, Schrader adapter and additional inflation nozzles. That keeps the main air equipment together whether you are using your own vehicle or helping with another one.
The compressor has a 90% duty cycle, equivalent to 54 minutes running in an hour at 22 degrees C and 29 psi. Thermal and electrical protection manage abnormal conditions, while the brushless control can adapt operation to the available supply. Air-tool use still needs to be matched to the tool's pressure and flow demand.
The blue battery clamps use polarity correction, making the portable connection more convenient. Keep the case open during operation so heat can escape. At 29 psi the specified current draw is 80 A, so a healthy, suitable 12 V supply and good electrical connections matter.
Cooling fans can continue running after the compressor is switched off. Leave the battery connection in place until cooling has finished, following the operating guide. Sealed components do not make an operating compressor suitable for immersion.
Our ARB digital tyre inflator is a relevant separate accessory when you want a pressure reading at the tyre. Choose the connection arrangement to suit the supplied air line. Tyre pressures need to suit the vehicle and the surface you are returning to.
The washable sintered-bronze intake filters can be cleaned as directed, and the air tank needs its condensate drained. Inspect the hose, fittings and clamps, and keep them clean before storage. The complete kit weighs 13.3 kg, so it is a substantial portable system with its main equipment in one place.

9.2 CFM is the zero-pressure measurement. At 29 psi, flow is 6.2 CFM, or 176 litres per minute. These two figures describe different test conditions.

Yes. The kit supplies a 7 m hose, the battery connection and inflation accessories, all kept with the portable case.
Keep it open and ventilated during operation. Leave the battery connection in place until the cooling fans have finished after switching off.
An Air Locker installation needs its own suitable regulated air supply, plumbing and controls. This portable inflation package does not provide a complete plug-in locker installation.
Use a tool whose air-flow and pressure demand suit the compressor. A high free-air number alone does not establish that it can continuously supply every air tool.
