Large tyres take a lot of air after a day at trail pressure. The APEX Rapid Inflation Valve adds a dedicated high-flow filling point to a dual-valve-stem wheel, reducing the restriction of a normal Schrader fill route. Use the RIV-specific chuck and an air supply matched to the job.

RIV is for wheels with two valve-stem positions. It is not a conventional Schrader connection. The separately listed RIV screw-on chuck is the correct interface; the four- and five-valve options here are labelled as including an RIV chuck.
Measure the wheel's valve well and cap clearance against the RIV drawing. This listing is Standard length, with a normal shortest-counterbore limit of 0.500 in. The guide illustrates a specific seal-flip arrangement gaining 0.100 in. Wheels with the illustrated AEV-style valve protector are excluded.
The sub-10-second air-up demonstration uses 37-39 in tyres and a 120 psi, 10 CFM shop-air supply. An on-board compressor is a different supply, so choose it for its real airflow and the tyres you need to fill.
For vehicle use, an ARB CKMTA12 twin compressor is an air-supply option, with the correct heat-rated feed, controlled hose arrangement and RIV chuck. Your actual filling time depends on the compressor's output, pressure, hose and tyre. The RIV guide specifies at least 0.188 in hose ID for on-board air and 0.250 in ID for the shop-air arrangement.
Choose a single Standard valve, four for the road wheels or five to include the spare. The four- and five-valve set labels include the dedicated chuck. Use the guide's regulator arrangement where you want pressure-controlled filling; do not assume that a bare valve adds automatic shut-off to the compressor.
