Faster Because It Flows
Standard valve cores throttle airflow, which is why airing up takes as long as it does. The RIV removes that restriction, so the same compressor fills the same tyre in a fraction of the time. Compared with waiting on a standard core, the difference is measured at the trailhead - and your compressor runs cooler doing it. For onboard air plumbing, keep the fill line at 0.188 inch ID minimum so the valve can flow as designed.

Will it work on my standard single valve-stem wheels?
No - the RIV is for dual valve-stem wheels only. If your wheels have a single stem, look at the APEX RCV or RPV valve families instead.
Do I need a special chuck?
Yes - the RIV uses its own screw-on chuck, included with the sets of 4 and 5. Single valves do not include it, and it is not compatible with standard Schrader chucks.
How fast is it really?
With a compressor delivering 120 PSI and 10 CFM, sub-10 second air-up times are achievable. Smaller compressors still gain from the reduced restriction, just at their own pace.
