The APEX Design USA Rapid Connect Valve (RCV) upgrades the connection between your air line and your existing valve stems. It threads onto a standard stem and gives your chuck a fast, positive connection point for every air-down and air-up afterwards - the small change that makes tyre pressure work feel like part of the system rather than a fiddle. Sets of 4 and 5 include the installation tool and decal; the single valve does not.
Before installing, check the tips of your existing valve stems for imperfections - the stem end must be in perfect condition for the RCV to seal. If a valve leaks after installation, remove it, file the stem tip square and flat, apply 3 to 4 wraps of PTFE tape to the stem threads and refit. Buying a single RCV? It comes without the installation tool, so plan for that or order the tool separately.

The RCV seals against the stem tip. If the tip is damaged or uneven, file it square and flat, add 3 to 4 wraps of PTFE tape to the threads, and refit - that resolves the typical installation leak.
