The Rapid Connect Valve is an accessible way to make airing down easier. Remove the existing valve core, screw the RCV onto the stem and you have a permanent slide valve for releasing air. You can make the change in the driveway without removing the tyre from the wheel.

Slide the valve to release air and close it at your chosen pressure. Allow approximately two minutes to take four 35 in tyres from 30 psi to 15 psi, including the walk from the driver's seat and back. That gives you a useful picture of a full air-down stop at those pressures.
Use the APEX Precision Pressure Gauge to monitor the pressure you want. If you are choosing between installation approaches, the Rapid Precision Valve replaces the wheel's valve stem instead of screwing onto the existing one.
The RCV seals against the existing valve stem, so its tip needs to be flat, square and undamaged. The fitting guidance explains inspecting that surface and correcting imperfections before installation. Check for leaks afterwards rather than tightening onto a damaged edge.
Sets of four and five include an installation multi-tool and Time to Deflate decal. The single RCV does not include either item; buying several singles does not turn them into a set with those accessories. The RCV installation tool and replacement Schrader cap are also available separately for service or replacement.

No. The installation tool and decal are supplied with sets of four or five, not the single-valve option.
They remain four single-valve purchases and do not include the set's tool or decal. Choose the set of four if you want that supplied combination.
