An air scoop is the cheap, clever end of intake tuning: it channels more incoming air toward the airbox feed without touching the sealed intake itself. This MST Performance scoop covers a broad sweep of the VW range - Golf GTI, Clubsport, TCR and R across Mk7 and Mk8, Arteon, Passat, Polo GTI, Jetta GLI and the Tiguan family per the table - as a genuine MST part designed for the platform's front-end airflow path.
The fitment table is unusually broad because the scoop works at the front of the intake path shared across these cars. Building a Tiguan R specifically? The MST Tiguan R inlet pipe pairs naturally with it on that platform.
