Enjoy a more controlled drive with front suspension that works together
When you add accessories or change ride height, the front springs and dampers need to suit one another. The Nitrocharger Plus 93053 front strut is designed for the corresponding OME suspension combination on your Ford Ranger Mk8 / Volkswagen Amarok Mk3, 2023 onwards. It gives you the damper choice for that build, with twin-tube, gas-charged construction.

The 93053 is the firmer-valved choice in this application. The 93052 front strut is the alternative listed alongside it. Choose by how you use the vehicle and the complete spring combination; the firmer damper is not a substitute for choosing springs to support the actual accessory weight.
Use the OME springs specified for this strut; this application is not compatible with the original-equipment coils. The original top hat, dirt shield and bump stop are reused when suitable, and top-mount bushes are not supplied with the strut.
On the four-cylinder Ranger, the spring-seat configuration is adjusted as specified to achieve the listed lift. The 20mm OME 4028 front coils are one lower-lift option within the corresponding OME system; select the full spring and damper application together.
The OME front spring chart is based on a Summit bar. With a Sahara bar, choose one spring step lower as specified for the application.
The strut has an open length of 560mm and closed length of 391mm, with a pin upper and eye lower mounting arrangement. Those measurements help identify the damper; the chosen springs and spring-seat configuration determine the vehicle's ride height.
Professional fitting and alignment help get the full benefit of the upgrade. The installer should check spring seating, mounting condition and suspension clearances, then inspect the fasteners as part of normal servicing.
