The Touareg and Cayenne share a platform, a tank position and a problem: a wide fuel tank slung where ramps, rocks and towing yards can reach it. This Almont fuel tank skid plate covers both cars with 16 kg of certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin in 6mm SportDuty cut, so a grounding that would gouge or split the tank floor spends itself on flat alloy instead. Like the rest of the Touareg and Cayenne range it mounts to the original chassis points with steel brackets and pre-installed bolts.
