The MK5 Golf R32's 3.2 VR6 is one of the best-sounding engines VW ever put in a hatchback, and this MST Performance cold air intake gives it a deeper breath. Engineered for the EA390 V6 from 2005-2008, the kit replaces the factory intake with aluminium pipework and a heat-shielded washable nanofiber filter — more VR6 induction howl, a keener throttle feel, and an engine bay worthy of a modern classic.
Naturally aspirated six-cylinder character is all about intake and exhaust voice, and the intake half is a one-afternoon job on the R32. MST's system keeps the filter shielded from bay heat and uses smooth aluminium runs, so the extra induction noise arrives without hot-air compromise.
