Give your rear suspension the control to match the springs
Springs carry the weight; dampers control the movement. The OME 63172 Nitrocharger Plus rear shock is matched to the specified Ranger Mk8 and Amarok Mk3 2023+ suspension application, helping the suspension settle after bumps rather than continuing to bounce.

OME develops its valving around the vehicle, springs and carried load. The 63172 is the specified rear damper choice for its application; different load selections can call for different valving, so choose it with the rear spring system.
The twin-tube construction places an outer reserve tube around the internal working components. Heavy-gauge steel adds strength, and the high-flow piston design helps manage aeration and oil temperature during repeated suspension movement. Vehicle-specific rubber and polyurethane bush components suit the mounting arrangement.
This is a gas-pressure rear damper with top and bottom eye mounts, rather than a spring-bearing front strut. Use the exact OME application and check the complete suspension installation, including bushes, travel and fasteners. The Raptor uses a different suspension arrangement.

The damper needs to control the fitted spring and vehicle load. OME offers different valving selections where the load and spring combination require them.
