The low-profile frame gives you mounting positions for suitable touring equipment, recovery accessories and compatible load platforms. Its open arrangement helps you reach into the bed when you need a case, tool or bag. Choose matching cross bars or a BASE Rack platform to support the gear you want to carry.
6061 aluminium combines useful strength with manageable weight, finished in black powder coat. Dovetail mounting faces give you options around the frame for compatible mounts, so items can sit where they are easiest to reach. Integrated cable channels help keep wiring tidy when adding suitable lighting.
For a broad, flat carrying surface, the 1255 x 1445 mm BASE Rack can be used with the correct BASE Rack to Bed Rack mount kit. These are separate additions. Check the complete mounting arrangement and load limits for your vehicle before adding a tent or other substantial load.
For Amarok installations, use the correct tub bracing for your vehicle build date. Pre-October 2024 vehicles require the 4140135 J-brace arrangement. Fit at least one cross bar whenever accessories are attached. On Aventura models, fitting involves removing the factory sailplane and roller tonneau and using a compatible liner arrangement. The Bed Rack has a 150 kg load rating in its correctly fitted arrangement; keep within any lower vehicle or accessory limit and spread the load. Check fasteners before touring and inspect the system after demanding trips.

No. Cross bars are separate accessories. At least one must be fitted whenever accessories are attached to this Amarok Bed Rack.
A suitable tent can be mounted with the correct platform or cross bars and tent fixings. Check the complete driving and occupied load conditions against the vehicle, Bed Rack and accessories before choosing the installation.
The open frame lets you work around the equipment rather than enclosing the load bed. Position accessories with tailgate access, opening luggage and any existing liner or cover in mind.
Check the frame, support-brace and accessory fasteners, and make sure every load is restrained. Amarok Aventura sailplane and roller-tonneau parts need to be removed for this fitting arrangement.
